Got your Tickets to BlizzCon?

by on June 5, 2010

If you did, you were one of the lucky few (few meaning 30,000) that did.

Over the course of 2 days, June 2 and today, BlizzCon 2010 sold out in 51 minutes.  Sound crazy?  Let’s do the math!

30,000 Tickets / 51 Minutes = 588 Tickets sold per Minute = roughly 9 Tickets per second.  Yeah, so if they were on sale, by the time you finished reading this post, they would have sold… roughly 225 tickets.

Congratulations to those who got tickets, and to the rest of us, don’t forget you can stream it over the internet or buy it though DirecTV for 39.95 as well.  So even if we can’t be there, we can experience it – without having to worry about smelly people, aching feet and legs, and expensive convention food 🙂

  1. Loved watching the Stream last time around, so most likely will be buying it again this year!
